So yeah, it's been a longass time since I've stepped foot into LJ, and I got rid of my old account cuz it was just so messy and dull. Hopefully this one will get a bit more attention than the last. Lovely sougo was precious enough and kind enough to help me pimp and prettify my new LJ. Such a sweetheart <3 And problem_halved was kind enough to allow me to use her arts!!

Thank you both so much <33 I'm too stupid to figure out how to do that stuff on my own ( pimp my LJ, html stuffs, and drawing DX;; )

ANYWAY!! Lots of stuff going on now, yusss.. Right now I'm happily hosting two wonderful folks from Ireland, problem_halved (aka Kitten-chan) and GenesisGoBoom -- they're both here on a stay for about two weeks, joining me at Otakon (Ikki and Spitfire respectively, and I'll be Kazu) and such and having a blast. I'm going to be super sad when they leave.  I'm having fun comparing Ireland to the US, inwardly grinning at hearing them talk and unwillingly starting to adapt it to my own speech, and showing them things that they may not get so much of in Ireland.  I'm taking them to a baseball game, for instance, and GenesisGoBoom seems excited about having a corn dog, and who can blame her? They're fantastic XDD;;

The drive was insanely tiring tho. I hadn't slept or eaten days before the trip and when I got them and started driving back, I had a mirgrane the size of New York, which oddly may have been what triggered it in the first place) and kept nodding off at the wheel. But as long as it was, we made it back safe and sound.

You know, it's very strange to know someone online, talk to them almost every night and then meet them in person. At first I was terrified, but as time went on I realized it was just... meeting someone for the first time but already knowing loads about them. XD It's like skipping over the getting to know part, lol, and right to the bonding.

I sure am tired tho ~

Anyway that's what I'm up to now and for the next few weeks. Then right after, like RIGHT after, I'm heading off to Florida until January to work and get a few credits for school. I'll go deeper into that once it happens.
